Eden & Embrace

What Is a Doula?

A doula is the steady presence who walks with you through every moment of birth and postpartum — offering grounded guidance, emotional safety, and calm, continuous care from the first contraction to the first quiet hours with your baby.

The Heart Behind Eden & Embrace

Before you invite someone into such a meaningful season of your life, it’s important to feel connected to them. Supporting women and families has been woven into my story for generations. I wanted to take a moment to share a little about who I am and why this work means so much to me.

If this feels aligned, I’d love to connect with you.

Birth Doula

I don't replace your provider — I round out the picture of support. A birth doula helps reduce medical interventions by offering continuity of care, grounded in physiological birth and trauma-informed practices.

Prenatal Guidance

I get to know your values, fears, and birth hopes. Together, we create a plan and rhythm that centers your autonomy and prepares you for a smoother, more grounded experience.

Labor Support

From massage and acupressure to movement and breath, I stay by your side — hour after hour — reducing pain and fear through evidence-based techniques tailored to you.

Emotional Reassurance

Birth can be intense. I offer steady presence, helping regulate your nervous system, reduce adrenaline, and restore calm between contractions — so you feel held, not alone.

Advocacy

I help you feel heard in medical spaces. You remain the decision-maker — I hold space between informed choice and unnecessary pressure, so your voice is always the loudest in the room.

Postpartum Doula

The fourth trimester is not just a recovery period — it's a total transformation. I help you stabilize, adjust, and reconnect with your own inner compass, while supporting your baby and family with practical, compassionate care.

Emotional Care

Birth processing, mood monitoring, space for grief and celebration — I make sure someone is caring for you, too. Your emotional experience in the fourth trimester matters deeply.

Hands-On Help

Newborn soothing, feeding guidance, and light household support so you can rest and recover without overwhelm. Your healing is the priority — not performing parenthood perfectly.

Partner & Family Support

I coach and care for everyone involved — easing communication, building confidence, and helping your whole family find its new rhythm together.

Gentle Sleep Foundations

Early postpartum is the ideal time to begin building gentle sleep rhythms. I'll help you understand your baby's cues and lay the groundwork for calmer nights — without pressure or cry-it-out methods. Learn more about sleep support →
